Confrontation at Clay Cross - Screening and Q&A

Group of picketers and activists in Clay Cross. Main banner reads: Clay Cross UDC will not implement the Act.

Tonight at 8pm our Quarantine Film Club will be hosting a special screening of 'Confrontation at Clay Cross'.

The 25-minute documentary tells the inspiring story of Labour councillors in Derbyshire who took on a Tory government in the 1970s and won.

After the screening, Chris Peace (previously Labour's Parliamentary candidate for North East Derbyshire) will chair a discussion with John Dunn, a former Clay Cross councillor who took part in the struggle.
