#NewYearNewMeetings
Come along to Sheffield Transformed's second evening at DINA for a chance to get started on your New Year's resolution to go to more meetings and get more involved in activism.
Building on the success of our last event, this will be a chance to discuss what we do next in Sheffield, to meet up and make plans with like-minded people, and hear from activists and organisations about how you can get involved with what they are doing.
Moving on from our packed 'debrief' in December, where 100 people talked and reflection on the 2019 election and wider Labour project, we'll now be thinking more widely:
- what should we prioritise and aim for?
- what is the lay of the land?
- where should we spend our time and energy - and how do we keep energised?
The Sheffield Transformed team will be taking us all through some reflection and action planning. You'll have a chance to make some resolutions for yourself, but most importantly, collective plans. This might be new projects where you see gaps, joining existing spaces, or identifying work you think Sheffield Transformed could be doing.
Please bring a pen and a notebook if you have them, though we'll have some spares too.
The bar will be open, and we're are reliably informed that the light in the accessible toilet will have been fixed.
