Workers' Struggles: Past, Present and Future

Workers' struggles - past, present & future. Sunday 3 May, 6pm. Zoom meeting ID: 839 7137 5758. Image of trade union members marching, one banner reads: Sheffield Trades Council says support the miners. It's not just miners jobs they are fighting for

To mark May Day weekend, join trade union activists for a discussion of workers' struggles of the past, present, and future.

The coronavirus pandemic has highlighted just how much we all rely on the labour of key workers. At the same time, the crisis has helped to shed light on the deep inequalities in our society and the critical importance of workplace organising.

In this Zoom chat, we'll discuss what we can learn from past struggles, how we can support workers during the crisis, and what we can do to build the labour movement in the months ahead.
